Theresa Shank, Ph.D.
Dr. Shank has been with PRA since 2000. She obtained her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology in1992 from the State University of New York at Buffalo. After finishing a two-year post-doctoral fellowship in pediatric psychology at Hurley Medical Center/University of Michigan, Dr. Shank was hired by the Kennedy Krieger Institute to supervise their postdoctoral psychology fellows in Developmental Pediatrics and to serve on interdisciplinary evaluation teams.
In addition to providing psycho-educational evaluations to children and adolescents, Dr. Shank specializes in the treatment of anxiety disorders in children, adolescents and adults. She has a particular interest in the treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder, and has received advanced training through the Behavior Therapy Institute of the OC Foundation.
